Accommodation

Accommodation will be booked in the Imola Hostel of the University for a discount price which is included in the daily fee (6000 HUF/night; this is approx. 19 euro/night) to be paid at the registration desk, upon arrival in Eger on 1st August.

A wide range of accommodations in all price and quality categories is available in Eger, which can serve as an alternative to our accommodation offer. If you decide to book your accommodation in another place in Eger, you are requested to do so by contacting the hotel, hostel or guest house directly; in this case the organizers of the summer school do not take any responsibility for your accommodation arrangements. In this case your daily fee, to be paid at the registration desk, will be 2000 HUF/night.

Please clearly state on your application form if you choose the Imola Hostel of the University for your accommodation. The Hostel is located close to the buildings of the Regional Research Centre and also to the city centre. The Hostel offers rooms with a fridge and microwave and free use of a common kitchen. A TV lounge and a free internet corner are available in the spacious lobby. Fitted with a private bathroom with shower, most of the rooms comes with panoramic city views. Eger Thermal Bath and the water slides of the aqua fun park are 700 metres from the hotel. The town’s railway station is 1.8 km away.
